My Review-
Graham Astor, mourns over his death wife, whom he loved dearly and can’t bare to live without. There is one thing he cannot run from, his daughter, who need a mother to love and a parent to guide. Graham must look for a wife (no), mother for this daughter.
Setting his jaw, Graham once more turned to the window. “I am not looking for a wife.”
“I see,” Edmond said, and there was something in his voice that made graham look at him. “Do you?” he asked.
Edmond nodded. “You’re not looking for a wife, but for a mother for Georgiana”
Rosabel wants not to be burden on her uncle, who took her in after her parents. She wishes to be a governess and live an independent life. Until a stranger ask for her hand in marriage and her uncle agrees instantly.
A shiver went down her back as his eyes met hers, and she averted her gaze without another thought as though afraid the cold in his eyes could turn her to stone.” There is something unsettling about him,” she whispered.
My Thought-
Had very much fun reading this historical romance, loved how Rosabel felt for Georgiana (Graham’s daughter), feeling of love and protecting her as her own daughter, for whom she can fight many war with her husband.
Graham is thick coconut head. His damaged heart is so in pieces that he closed all door for love from his daughter and wife. All claps and standing ovation goes to Rosabel for being strong and brave and for breaking cold walls between her husband and his family.
Recommendation- Yes, I would recommend this to everyone, including teens and young adult. This is a clean romance, very much entertainment read.
